Ramen is super popular and shops are popping up all over. I was super stoked to hear about Ramen Kitchen opening right around the corner from my home in Stoneybatter.

This is the cutest and coziest little shop! It has a dark and romantic atmosphere and makes you feel like you are in a little restaurant in Japan. They have a good amount of seating inside, but on a nice day, there are a few sunny tables out front as well.

Food

While the restaurant’s name suggests their menu will be ramen, it’s surprisingly only a fraction of what is on their menu. While they do have six ramen dishes to choose from, they also have an impressive list of other popular Japanese choices!

Some of my favorites are tempura starters, gyozas, a large choice of sushi rolls, as well as classic sashimi and nigiri.

Ramen Kitchen is located right on the edge of the northern side of Stoneybatter. They are an easy bus ride from the city centre on lines 37, 39, 39a, and 70, or a short walk from the Smithfield Luas stop.

Price

The prices here are pretty standard for Japanese food in Dublin. Starters range from 7-9 euro. Ramen bowls are 14-16 euro and sushi rolls are 9-16 euro. Not too shabby!

Groups

Ramen Kitchen is a very popular place in Stoneybatter! They are on the OpenTable App, which is a great way to find open reservations at a number of popular restaurants in Dublin. I’d recommend taking a look here and booking a spot if you are planning on heading in during peak hours!

Most of their tables fit about 4 people, but they do have a few high tops that may be able to fit up to 6! They also have a window bar, so it’s a great place to head if you are traveling alone and want to do a bit of people watching!
