Foodie Friday: Brother Hubbard

Occasionally I will link to products or tours through affiliate links. At no additional cost to you, I may earn a small commission through your purchase, but I only recommend things I would use myself or recommend to my besties!

Brother Hubbard has been a staple in the Dublin brunch scene since 2012. They have steadily grown in popularity and have two Dublin locations (one each on the north and south sides of the city).

While they are most famous for brunch, they also serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner! They even have a small retail shop that sells their amazing products to take home AND they also do takeaway.

Food

Their food is hugely inspired by middle eastern fare. You’ll find a lot of ingredients like chickpeas, halloumi, paprika, and aubergine/eggplant. They even have baklava!

For brunch, the Turkish Eggs Menemen is always a hit! Any try it with a side of fried halloumi (my personal fave)!

Price

Brother Hubbard has average brunch prices for Dublin. Most dishes are 12-13 euro and add-ons (like the BEST halloumi) fall from 1-3 euro.

Groups

Brother Hubbard is always hoppin’! So, if you go with a big group of people, make sure you leave some time to wait for a table. They don’t take reservations for daytime meals, but it is 100% worth the wait! If you are planning on visiting for dinner, make sure to make a reservation!
